Today, the Ministry of Justice, in cooperation with the Media and Information Agency (MIA), hosted an informative gathering for young professionals interning in the Ministry’s institutions. The discussion focused on fundamental rights, institutional transparency, and European integration, with the aim of raising awareness of legal reforms and facilitating citizens’ access to justice.
The Ministry of Justice plays a key role in strengthening the rule of law and fundamental rights within the European integration process. In this regard, reporting on Chapter 23, Judiciary and Fundamental Rights, remains one of the main obligations of the institution, reflecting progress in judicial reforms and alignment with EU standards.
Meanwhile, the Media and Information Agency plays a crucial role in communicating state policies and enhancing institutional transparency, informing citizens about reforms and Albania’s progress towards EU membership.
The synergy between the mission of the MIA and the activities of the Ministry of Justice is essential to ensure a comprehensive approach to judicial reforms and to promote civic engagement, especially among young people, in institutional and democratic processes.
